The thumbs have quickly become the latest fad/terrorism. Remember how nice it was when Y! got rid of them for the questions asked? Dozens of people used to thumb down a question they didn't like without even bothering to answer! People do it to answers now, just for the sake of seeing numbers add up on the right side. I say abolish all thumbs! What are your thoughts? (Naturally, if you get a thumbs down, it wasn't from me!)

No, I don't think so! I like the thumbs up/thumbs down feature! I love giving people thumbs up when I'm really feelin' their answer and I like the fact that we get a point for every thumbs up we get! I only give thumbs downs to people who truly deserve it! I'm one of the smart ones!

The thumbs up thumbs down is rating system people use
when they disagree with an answer to a question. It is not a question of whether or not to bother to read the answer. So it should stay.
