We can see it out a hotel window. It is huge. It has a copper roof and is built of grey stone. It has five large gables. The second and fourth gables each have a cross on them. The first, third and fifth gables each have an oval window under the peak. It looks to be five stories high. The windows on the top floor are in a mansard roof.

Unfortunately, a physical disability prevents simply walking down & checking it out in person. The building is interesting because
1) it's unusually wide (covers several blocks)
2) it's roof is shiny, so it's very noticable
3) other nearby institutions are labeled on all the maps (i.e. Montreal General Hospital & a couple of colleges), so we're wondering why this one isn't

You really need to be more specific here!

What's so important with that particular building that you need to know what's going on there?!?

You seem to know the address, or at least where it's located (Corner of Rue Du Fort & Sherbrooke West), so what don't you just go up to the front of the building, bang on the door and ask?

Hope you get your curiosity satisfied but do you remember what curiosity did to the cat?

Good luck!
