It's the only thing they can think of to criticise us about - given how superior we are in almost every way.
Makes me laugh - they tell us we all have bad teeth, and they're wrong. We tell them they're all fat - and we're right!!
(And they didn't save our limey asses in WW2, either).

The Americans think the British have bad teeth for the same reason the British think Americans are overweight, self righteous and ignorant of the rest of the world. Because it is true.

i do not think its got anything to do with teeth its
an old periodontal...not with the gums,,,but The jaw
and i do not believe it is that the problem
and lets face it this happens in all languages
its got to do with the different of pronunciation and the
twist of the tongue even dialog... and here in the America's
we manage to learn communication in more then English
and any meaning in a word you can pronounce in your own accent,,, like your BRITISH assent its understood....
a little bit as the nationality of Scotland and Ireland...
mixed...we not only manage to understand each other
we can converse in too the curiosity on presentations
I beg your pardon.. my mother tongue ,,the language is
understood as Spanish in fact so many countries in Latin America glue them all together they will be larger then Spain
where our language originally came from...
so i suppose you ask about the British accent...
well we also have the island of Jamaica but that has to do
about History not obsession.. as my Mom..used to
Say ..from her own tongue '' keep your tongue behind your
teeth...do not look for trouble...and would you believe
she spoke French .Italian ..German and Yiddish...and never
bothered to speak English
Goes to show what America and the freedom of
speech means...and SO what,!!! you talk about...
through ,,,your Teeth,,,forgive me...i still can not
understand... what you talk about,,,????
can not catch...upon your Accent..
.

From what I've seen there are some real hillbilly hicks in America who could do with a trip to the dentist AND there are some fat, lardy arsed Brits here who could do with a trip to Weight Watchers.
We're not so different.

I'm sure you have dentisits, but do you go to them? I'm not hating on the British, but as an American I hate to say- a lot of you guys have some messed up teeth, that's all. Sorry, I don't mean to be too rude. Not all of you, but a lot.
I still love the British though.

Well perhaps we ought to have an obsession with our teeth then we wouldn't have to answer questions like this one.
No disrespect to your question just stating a fact that we ought to take more care of our teeth.
