There are some cases where laws have been broken by means of "civil disobedience," where people use non-violent methods to disobey laws of the government that they think are unfair.

One example is Rosa Parks' refusal to give up her bus seat to a white person, which was in violation of the racist regulations of that time. Her refusal started a chain of evens that led to the racial desegregation movement in the United States.

Civil disobedience has been used over the years to provoke necessary changes in society in India, South Africa, the United States, and many other countries.

Effective civil disobedience methods use non-violent resistence, such as peaceful demonstrations and blockades, during which the participants neither resist or assist the authorities when they are arrested or removed.

It is not up to the individual to decide the fairness of a particular law. Laws are a kind of common agreement. If you think a law is unfair, you can lobby to get that law repealed, do whatever you want and take the consequences, or break the law and challenge it in court. It is however not "ok" to break a law simply because you think it is unfair.
