I'm not talking about being major or anything.I just wan't to record some tracks and get one mixtape out just one and see the reaction and i'll take it from there. The reason I ask this is because I see all these people falling in love with soulja boys music. What I write Is not your average bling, money, hoes. and I'm def not a dance or snap type either. What I write and what I could bring is Real life storys and real music and real lyrics.I'm just afraid I'll fail because the type of hip hop I write I guess I think if people get into that soulja boy type of music nobody will even want to listen to the type of thing I want to bring.I wan't to bring a positive vibe but then again I'm writing about real life storys and everything I write is real and sometimes real life lyrics aren't clean because they are my thoughts, what I have lived,I write to vent my anger, feelings etc...But why would anyone wan't to listen to that real if everyones into that gangsta and dance **** now?

I'm def feeling what you people have to say.And yes to the one person who said they don't bother listening to it anymore because all they talk about is material stuff and chatter it is true alot of it is.But unfortunatley I do not have a myspace or anything like that to show off my music.I do not have any tracks recorded yet but these lyrics are crazy i'm telling ya.I will make sure to put a question on the rap and hip hop section asking for y'all to rate my music I'll be like what do you think of my music ? or something. If y'all keep your accounts when the time comes i will email all of you personally and tell you to check out my stuff.thanks 4 all the support I do believe deep down there is a place in hip hop for my music i'll just have to be the trendsetta.1.

Of course you can make some tracks and stuff. I feel hip hop by folks like Mos Def, Talib Kwali, Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, Common, etc. There can't be enough good, quality hip hop out there. I miss the days when it was truly political. Public Enemy, BDP and KRS-One, etc. I hope some day soon, hip hop gets more back to it's roots. Don't worry about it being clean or not, just keep it real.

You music sounds like it would be a wonderful change from the mondane stuff that is on heavy rotation. I would seriously give you a listen if you ever wish to take this aspiration of your any further. I'm sure you'll make it big if you have the will power and feel comfortable with yourself and the things that you're willing to bring to the table.
Be confident and believe in your abilities to give the people real music and real lyrics. i'm dying to hear something new. I'm really hoping you continue on and follow your dream. I want to hear some good music again.
I for one can say I am not like everyone else, I'm not into glorifying the life of a ganstar, nor do i wish to dance to the same 'ol w/catchy beats all the time. Bring me the music!

It would make a change to see someone talking sense and not chattin the same old money and ho's sh it. I used to be a big hip hop head, but have started to refrain from listening, cos I am tired of the same old crap. Unfortunately, all the commercial crap is what is selling these days, and fools have watered down hip hop, to make it pop. We need more people like you to bring the music back to the glory days. Keep trying, and you never know what may happen. I would love to hear what you have done so far. Do you have a myspace or any way I could hear your stuff? Good luck, and I wish you all the best.x

Go for it bro. There's alot of people that love hiphop who can't stand listening to soulja boy or etc. Pour your heart and mind into your lyrics and you'll succeed. Not necesarilly get like a deal or anything but create good material. Thats what its all about!!!

You have a better chance of getting struck by lightning as statistics would say, But you should always follow your passions. If it doesn't work out the way you want use it as a hobby or just something that your good at

Hip hop is saturated. If you want to get noticed, do punk ska. If you are not white, you will stand out even more.
