These coordinates are in (x,y) form.. if you want to find the y, then plug in x; if you want to find the x, plug in the y

for (5, )
you just plug in 5 for x
2(5) + y = 10
10 + y = 10
y = 0
(5,0)

for ( , 10)
plug in 10 for y
2x + 10 = 10
2x = 0
x = 0
(0,10)

for ( ,-2)
plug in -2 for y
2x + (-2) = 10
2x - 2 = 10
2x = 12
x = 6
(6, -2)

for (0, )
plug in 0 for x
2(0) + y = 10
y = 10
(0,10)

to solve any of those you substitute the number you know into the equation and solve for the variable that is left.
For example, for 2x+y=10
you know in the point (5, ) that the 5 is the x value. So plug in the 5 where the x is now you have 2(5) +y=10 then add a -10 to both sides to get y=0 so for the point (5, ) the y value is zero. you do the same if you only know the x value. The rest of the points are (5,0) (0,10) (6,-2) (0,10)

you need to turn the equation into y=10-2x, by moving 2x to the left side.

now since you know the x you can find the y, e.g.
the fist one: y=10-2*5=10-10=0 => (5,0)

in the second one, you do not know the value of x so the equation must be turned into: x=5-y/2.

and now: x=5-10/2=5-5=0 => (0,10).

do the same for the others, just notice where you need to find the X and where you need to find the Y.

x=5, plug and solve for y to get y=0 (5,0)
y=10, plug in and solve for x to get x=0 (0,10)
y=-2, solve for x, x = 6, (6,-2)
x=0,
2(0) + y =10
0+y=10
y=10
this is the same as the second point (0,10)
