If jogging is something that you did before you got pregnant, you should be fine. It's never good to start an exercise during pregnancy that your body isn't used to. I am a cross counrty runner and ran 3 miles a day during both of my pregnancies up until the time that I delivered them. They were overdue, so it did not cause early labor. I have heard that the babies like the jogging motion and it realxes them. Talk to your Doc first. Just go at your own pace.

It is safe to continue a workout routine that you were comfortable with before you were pregnant, whether that is jogging, swimming, or most anything else. For the most part, you should continue working out at your normal level until it is no longer comfortable to do so, then adjust your workout so that it is comfortable. You may go from jogging to walking eventually when you start getting heavier and things start bouncing around, very uncomfortable. Personally, I have taken up water jogging. Its wonderful to feel weightless for a little while, I never knew a workout could actually feel that relaxing.
Things to consider, keep your work out in a range where you can still carry on a conversation, stay hydrated and do what you can to prevent injury, because your joints are a little rubbery while you are pregnant.
Good luck and congrats!

Please talk to your doctor about this one. I've always heard that if you've done it before you got pregnant and you are still comfortable doing it, then you are safe to do so, as long as you are having a normal pregnancy.
I commend you for trying to stay fit during these 9 months and not using it as an all you can eat challenge while you sit on your couch like so many other women do!
Here's a link I found that has 2 different doctors opinions. Hope it helps!

You are going to want to make sure that your heart rate stays under 140 bpm though. It's a good general guideline.

Ask your doctor. If you have already been running for a long time, it's usually safe through the first half of your second trimester. However, given that there are a lot of problems, really, your doctor is your best source for this.
You can walk and if you need more of a workout, carry a backpack. Wearing weights on wrists or ankles has already been shown to cause problems for a lot of women, so I don't really know how to do that one safely.

talk to your doctor -- but i just read an article in my local paper about a woman who just had her second baby, and she was jogging up until she had the baby!! i remember being shocked because i thought that was too harsh to be doing while pregnant, but she jogged through 7 months with her first, and has had two perfectly healthy babies. and she stayed in shape at the same time!... she did consult with her doctor about it, and kept checking to make sure she was still able to (which is why she stopped at 7mo with her first).
im no expert, so don't just jump up and go on a jog.. i am sure you need to take it easy, and do nothing especially vigorous.. but yes, you can jog. just talk to your dr about how much! =)
congrats on your baby!

If you never jogged before then you shouldn't start. But it is safe if your body is use to it.

My doctor said it was completely ok to do anything I was doing before I got pregnant. Just make sure you dont overheat yourself or get dehydrated! Have a good jog!

Do not go jogging at 14 weeks pregnant. If you want tips on what exercises you can do ask your doctor. Low impact exercises that doesn't exhaust you is what's recommended but there is no reason for you to be jogging.
