I have had a building survey done on a house I wish to purchase, it has stated for the services such as hot water and heating "CORGI registred plumber to test the system and confirm if the flue is apprpiriate and positioned properly." Now I know this is standard practice advice, but I had a plumber to test to the service, would I have to pay? If so how much about?

Best I could get was £90 charge to plug in & test a new gas stove ..

It took him longer to count the money and sign the Certificate than it did to do the job ..
