I live in central time zone and want to know how to calculate a time from universal to central since calenders use universal time(greenwich time zone).

Central Standard Time is 6 hours earlier than UT; CDT is 5 hours earlier. So just subtract the appropriate number of hours.

For Central Standard Time, add six hours. For Central Daylight, add seven.
