Read the manual for your computer and it will tell you what kind of RAM it can take and any other restrictions that might apply. Since you stated "my other 2 RAM slots" I assume it's a desktop computer (laptops normally only have 2 slots).

If you want to know what you currently have in your computer now, go to http://www.crucial.com and run their "analyzer". It will tell you what kind and how much RAM you have in the available slots. Then you can determine if the extra RAM you have will fit and be compatible to what is currently in your PC. There should be a label on the extra RAM sticks you have to tell you exactly what it is.

Hope this helps.

Check your motherboard specifications and see if it suitable. The manual will tell you what type is used. The m'board box will also show it, if you still have that. Take steps to ensure you don't discharge any static when you open the case. Even though you don't think you have some on you, you may, and this tiny unrecognizable amount will screw your pc.

It should be tell you bout the details if you do this:
-click start
-run
-type: /dxdiag
it supposed to show you the info bout your ram,VGA and DirX

but if it's not show that it's work you may haven't installed the driver of your VGA, and to make it more sure..

right click on ur desktop
choose properties
go to advanced monitor settings..
(the one with mon.resolution,etc)
it should be there show you the info bout your integrated RAM
