Ok well as long as they brush them then yes, there are people who have dental problems that come from things other than poor hygiene also teeth can be fixed

I would go on a date but the bad teeth would be a very big turn off. I have seen really bad teeth. It usually means they don't brush them and don't see a dentist. What kind of effort would a person like that put into a serious relationship?
Now if they are very clean and just in need of braces, that might be different.

SURE! Why not? I think imperfections give them character that set them apart from everyone else. BEsides, if they're PERFECT in every other way, then who cares about teeth? They can always be fixed in the future if it's THAT big of a deal. My BF actually has a little gap in between his two top front teeth. If someone had told me that before I probably would not have gone out with him, but he is absolutely adorable. He's a gorgeous man, and when he smiles, his little gap makes him even that more interesting. Don't let teeth determine who you want to be with. If he's good for you, then he's good for you -- teeth and all.

Definitely! Teeth can be fixed, shi**y personalities can't! If I thought someone was perfect in every other way I would look past the teeth and hope that someday they got fixed. Chances are, if everything else clicks, I would learn to love those bad teeth!

Gosh, that is a disturbing question, or more the answer is disturbing because when I think about it, I realize how shallow I could be! No, I don't think I could because "bad teeth" to me means bad breath, gingivitis and food stuck everywhere. I don't think I could.

It's that kissing thing that would get to me. Maybe, if we became excellent friends first and were able to discuss the matter, the possiblity would be that dental work could be done to correct the little problems and then proceed with a relationship from there.

No way !! If this person was to smile, and their teeth were in poor condition, it can take away some of the positives that they may have. If a person cannot take care of their teeth, what else do they neglect ?? Sorry, didn't mean to ask a question but, it makes you think, " if they aren't concerned about their oral hygiene then....

No. When I look for a man, he has to have nice eyes, good teeth, and strong hands. Finding a boyfriend is kind of like buying a horse ... eyes, teeth, hooves. Heh

I would have to say NO!! I went out on a friendly date with someone and discovered that they had bad teeth. Never did it again. You have to have nice teeth. A little crooked is ok but rotten....that is a no!!

Hmmm, depends on your definition of "really bad teeth". I dated a girl with a metal filling in nearly all of her teeth (including some in the front). Evidently, she had "really bad teeth". But her breath was fine and they were always sparkly white.

Now, if you are talking about someone with rotting teeth, that are completely dishevelled, yellow, soft, grey from decay, and spread out with lumps of plaque on them, then no, that would be a deal breaker. It will get old real quick.
