I hear people saying we don't need this war
I say there's some things worth fighting for
What about our freedom and this piece of ground
We didn't get to keep 'em by backing down
They say we don't realize the mess we're getting in
Before you start your preaching let me ask you this my friend
Have you forgotten how it felt that day?
To see your homeland under fire
And her people blown away
Have you forgotten when those towers fell?
We had neighbors still inside going thru a living hell
And you say we shouldn't worry 'bout bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
They took all the footage off my T.V.
Said it's too disturbing for you and me
It'll just breed anger that's what the experts say
If it was up to me I'd show it everyday
Some say this country's just out looking for a fight
After 9/11 man I'd have to say that's right
Have you forgotten how it felt that day?
To see your homeland under fire
And her people blown away
Have you forgotten when those towers fell?
We had neighbors still inside going thru a living hell
And you say we shouldn't worry 'bout bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
I've been there with the soldiers
Who've gone away to war
And you can bet that they remember
Just what they're fighting for
Have you forgotten how it felt that day?
To see your homeland under fire
And her people blown away
Have you forgotten when those towers fell?
We had neighbors still inside going thru a living hell
And you say we shouldn't worry 'bout bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
Have you forgotten all the people killed?
Some went down like heros in that Pennsylvania field
Have you forgotten about our Pentagon?
All the loved ones that we lost and those left to carry on
Don't you tell me not to worry about bin Laden
Have you forgotten?
Have you forgotten?
Have you forgotten?

Listen folks. There is nothing in here about Iraqw. It says Bin Laden. Not Iraq.
I wasn't refering to Iraq at all. I was refering to all those who died on 9/11
I am not a Pal and I have never lived in a fantasy land.

Those who forget are doomed to make the same mistakes over and over. I am not sure that it will not happen again. Especially when we have military aircraft in the air carrying nuclear weapons and the military didn't even know it. It makes me question the people that are supposed to be protecting us. Makes you wonder! Thanks for the printed song though. It is a good song and a good reminder! GOD BLESS AMERICA AND OUR TROOPS. GOD PROTECT THEM ALL.

NO i really dont think any of us can ever forget that day it is marked in our hearts an mind because we have to live a diffrent way because of it but the point is you need a reason for contuine a war an i think our reason has experied a long time ago an now we are thier fighting the same war to keep them from killing each other an to help them build thier own goverment so they can live in peace among each other but how can you help people that dont want help so until we stop this war we are going to contuine to have our soliders killed by them an have you forgoten all our solidera we lose to this war evry day so how could we forget we see it on the news all day every day an have to live by a color code so we want to to work in the moring an get blown away an thats no way for us to live but to keep the war going is not nessary because we have lost so much of our own sels in the war even if your not their so how can you forget any of it an even after the war they will contuine thier behavior no matter what we have tried to help them build an i bet you any amount of money a year after the war all we have done to help them they wiil destroy any way but for god sake it is really time for this to be so over an really has already been over for a while now so no we have not forgotten why we went to war what we all want to know know is what are we contuining to fight for now because our lifes will never be the same at this point.

Nope, haven't forgotten. Never will forget. Will do my part to make sure others don't forget. But I still say it's time to find a way to begin pulling troops out of Iraq. It's been 6 years. I think the Iraq Army should be farther along on it's way to being a self-sustaining military force.

No, I haven't forgotten but what does Iraq have to do with 9/11. Maybe we should have gone after OBL instead of letting Afghanistan do it and he would have been capture. The only reason for being in Iraq would be to help the people from the persecution of Hussein which wouldn't have needed a war.
Have you forgotten all the dead and injured soldiers? The unkempt military hospital, and no real mental help for when they come home. Still no exit plan, still no plan to win the war, maybe we should protect our military more.

Have YOU forgottenthat Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11?
That Bush has letbin Ladin and al-Qaida go scot-free while he attacked a country that never attacked us?
That our dead in the Twin Towers remain unavenged because the neoconservatives are more interested in making money than in defending America?

I was at the World Trade Center on 9/11 and I will never forget.
I wish we had a president who remembered. We would be going after the terrorists who attacked us rather than making more enemies in Iraq and helping Al Qaeda recruitment.

I'll never forget who did this to us. But have you forgotten that the U.S has been doing this kind of attacking on the people of the middle east for decades now? And, did you forget that we've supported brutal dictators that treat their people cruelly and inhumanely for decades as well?
BTW, why are we forcing Iraqi families, including millions of children to suffer for the atrocities of Al Qaeda? I'll never forget who did this to us and I know for a fact it was not Iraq or Saddam.

None of us will forget.
9/11 and the invasion/occupation of Iraq are different issues.
