my gpa in high school is not so great, its like a 2.8 (for lack of interest at the time).im in my first year at houston community college taking some of my core classes trying to make a good gpa. when do u think will be a good time to apply at a & m university,nursing program? I heard its alittle hard to get in.

You can apply at any time. Your high school grades cannot be changed but, since you are currently taking college courses this maybe helpful. Many Universities can be difficult to get into. Continue with your courses and, if you are not eligible to be accepted @ A & M, why not try to apply for a College that has a reputable nursing program. State Colleges are less " picky" and are usually less money than a University. I hope that this helps and Good Luck.

Apply as early as you can after you get your prerequisite classes done. Work with an advisor from A&M to make sure the classes you are taking now transfer.

Typically you should apply about one year prior to when you want to start.
