Conservatives think 70 percent of Americans are "un-American"

Sort of ridiculous at this point isn't it.

It seems like the Left in this country lumps all Republicans together, as if it's OK to stereotype one particular group. You can find a fool in any group, and most often on Yahoo.
I think what most Republicans believe is that some Democrats grandstand for political reasons no matter what the consequences. Go back and read some of the quotes before the war. Now they seem to want to take advantage of the situation for their own political hide, yet the situation has serious long term consequences with Iran and Syria. It's not so simple that we can just pull out and leave a mess, but it seems that some politicians do not care. They will just point the finger at someone else. That's what they mean when they talk about traitors because that is a traitor.

The ones that are unpatriotic are the Democrats in the Congress whom voted for the war and now wants to run with their tails between their legs. We are at war and for them to denounce the troops the way they have been doing is treason. They have demeaned our troops calling them stupid and incompetent. When it is they who are incompetent. They want to micro manage the war from Washington D.C. Like they did with Vietnam. Was there mistakes made? I think so but there has been mistakes in all wars. The biggest mistakes is to try to run the war from Congress. How many 9/11s must happen before you and other liberals are willing to go after the terrorist? Three thousand innocent people died six years ago yet the libs want to sweep it under the rug like Bill Clinton did. True we haven't gotten Osama yet. At lease George Bush has gone after him. Where as Bill Clinton had Osama handed to him on three occasions and also had many more to take him out for ever. Yet Bill refused to do either one.

You're not a traitor to question a President's foreign policy, you are a traitor when you try to aid and comfort the enemy of the USA for political reasons. That is the difference between what the Republicans are doing, and what the Libtors are doing. By the way, you should be thankful that President Bush HAS a foreign policy. His predecessor (Bilbo Clinton) had no foreign ploicy other than to fly his trousers at half mast in the Oval Office and give sensitive technology to the country he REALLY was president of, Red China

Petreaus got his job to be a liar. Notice how bush was rewwriting that Iraq civil war report, covering up the inept corrupt failure of that Government?

Smoke fog ande mirrors won't stay in place for November, 2008.

Sadly yes.Haven't you noticed before when Republicans speak out against the Iraq madness they get branded slammed and demonized too like Chuck Hagel earlier?

For them(the Bush believers) this is a mythological battle between good and evil. They are good.Al quaida, liberals, conservatives who don't agree and everyone else who is no longer prepared to go on with this failure is evil.

There is a HUGE differance between questioning the plan or questioning a strategy and outright calling a 4 star general a liar and a lackey.

The US Military is a VERY professional force. The DemonRATS and others who do not treat the military with proper respect, even whent hey disagree with them, are NOT evidencing what would be considered "patriotic" dissent.

Questioning a plan or a strategy is also COMPLETELY differant than falsely accusing our soldiers or war crimes (Kerry, Murtha, Reid, Pelosi et al). Making said FALSE accusations strictly for personal or political gain IS TREASON.

The neocons think that disagreeing with Bush is treason. They will attack anyone that questions his policies, even those on the right. Reasonable debate is not an option for them because God told them they are right.

Dissent is not allowed. Obviously, those Republicans are emboldening the enemy, supporting the terrorists, are un-American, hate America, are traitors, etc.
