who ask a question -usually in the wrong section, because they're new to Yahoo- then add a lot of details to it, but only receive one answer, which is usually not what they were looking for?

Yes. This can be a very complicated place when you don't
know it. I am still learning. If people harass others--shame
on them. I don't know anyone who was born knowing the
computer, or Yahoo. : } We all need to help each other and
have a heart.

yes I do. That's why I take the time to answer some of the questions that I really don't want to. I think for a lot of people this is a form of therapy, and at least they got a chance to write out what ever was on their mind. I find myself answering questions just so I can vent at times.

Not really, because they have an opportunity to re-ask the question; it's not a catastrophe or anything.

Not at all. People make mistakes. It would be wise if they learn from them(not to repeat them).
