Because our mom's were always so quick to baby their little boys when something was wrong, we got conditioned to act that way because it feels good to be babied by mommy, or whichever woman is filling her role at that point in his life.

I have no idea. If most guys get a backache or anything, they act like they can't do anything. But i had a really bad toothache and i cut the grass and still lifted anything that was heavy. i forget to add, i was doing everything without medicine. Probably because their mothers are so quick to baby them when they are younger. Girls are taught to tough it out.

I'm a guy and I don't act like a baby when I get sick. However I am pretty cranky when I'm sick but that's a whole different thing altogether.

I feel for you... Give him some NyQuil and that ought to knock his *** out for awhile. Then just KEEP him sedated through the whole thing.... ; )
