Acceptance of who and what another person is as they are, supporting and respecting a persons beliefs and ideas, wanting to put a person above and before yourself, willing to meet more than half way when the need arises, compromise is essential, listening with your heart and never forsaking that person for someone else.
There is probably more, but this is a really good start.
I am hoping and praying that A.J. finds real love and learns it doesn't always have to hurt. I have had my share of hurt, but also know love can make you feel so much happiness that you forget the hurt. Love can make a world of difference.

Love has different types but mostly we understand it to ourselves as a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend.

For me love means no being able to live without someone... It means that each day you crave for his kiss, his sweet embrace, the look on his eyes that says he loves you too... Love means that even if I live to be a hundred I will never be sick of him or his touch or his kiss ...

Two individuals finding themselves feeling incomplete without the other. That's true love, it only works when the feeling is mutual.
