Why? Because it is vile and disrespectful to refer to one of our top military leaders in that manner. And while the MoveOn crowd is entitled to their opinion, I am entitled to respectfully disagree with them.

Petreaus is in between a rock and a hard place. Give the President's report and be seen as Bush's lapdog. Give a report closer to the General Accounting Office and end your career right there. I don't know about you but whether or not I was working or not working the things my wife needs cost money and losing a career you sunk 25-30 years in would stink.
You honestly didn't think that Bush was going to call him back to washington and let him give a report saying that this surge is not working as well as hoped did you?

MoveOn is, in essence, one super wealthy speculator who is trying to tell the rest of us how to live and what to believe.
Fortunately, he hasn't made a whiff of political sense ever, no matter that he can make billions gambling in the commodities markets.

Because, and this will surprise many people on the right, liberals do not get their marching orders from MoveOn or even Soros. We get our information from reality.
