Hi all. Okay so i am worried i may be pregnant. My period was due last tuesday and it never came. I have had no signs of my period comming either. I never miss a period. Latley ive been having cramping (which I never get b4 a period), some back aches, headaches, sometimes sick to my stomach, i havent been eating as much, and today am getting signs of the flu. ive taken some preg tests (from the dollar store lol) and came up neg. I did take one first response test but it was at night and came up neg. I never miss a period so i dont know whats wrong. I did have sex (unprotected but he pulled out and im not on the pill, i know its stupid) on like day 13 of my cycle. So is the flu a sign of pregnancy??? And do u think im pregnant??????? Thankyou!!

When i say flu: stuffy nose, sick to my stomach, sore throat. I just got the flu about 2 days ago.

Hon, I'll say one thing. You couldn't have picked a better day to get pregnant.

You certainly may have more than just the flu. It may take you 9 months to get over it.

You very well could be, you can get pregnant from precum. You need to take your test first thing in the morning though, you will get a accurate result from first morning pee. It doesnt matter what kind of test you take, they all work the same. I always used dollar store tests. You can have the flu as well. I went to the hospital when i was preg w my son and didnt know it yet(for a migraine), and they took a blood pregnancy test and it came up negative, but a week later i took a home test and it came up positive. So, wait a few more days and take it first thing in the morning! Good luck!

Even when a guy pulls out you can get pregnant. Honestly, go to your doctor. They will be able to do a more accurate pregnancy test.

Sometimes even if you're regular you will skip a period or two in your lifetime. I'm very regular and I've skipped my period once or twice and it scared me pretty badly. Have you had any kind of new stress in your life? Anything at all that your body is not used to? You say you have the flu, that can disrupt your cycle as well. All these things can call for a late or missed period.

Keep in mind, you could just be very late and worrying about your period might be causing it not to come. Go to your doctor, he'll be able to quell/confirm your fears a lot better than we can.

You sound as if you definitely have a URI. The pregnancy issue is a bit tougher. If you have had two negative preg tests at home and still no period, I reccomend a free clinic or a doctor visit for a BLOOD pregnancy test. They can do a qualitative test (yes/no) and if yes a quantitative test to measure the Hcg levels and tell how far. Best to wait another week, do another home test with first morning pee, than to the doctor. Good Luck!! Also, if you play like an adult...Please use condoms, unless you want to get pregnant.

Just to let you know even when a guy pulls out you can get pregnant (precum). But you should go to your doctor if you really think somethings going on. Take some medicine for the flu, see if that helps. If you period still hasn't come back go to a gyn, there could be other things other than pregnancy that can dealy and stop a period.

any time you have sex - esp without BC like you did - there is a bigger risk then having had sex w/ some kind of BC.
You always use HPT with your first sample of the day as then the hormone from the embryo has time to build up in your urine - not at night. dollar store HTP are rated as very good ones (www.peaonastick.com) but it sounds like you need to retest.
As to the flu like symptoms it most likely is the flu or allergies or a bacterial infection - go to the doctors and you can always ask for a blood pregnancy test while you are there as well.

Yeah, pregnancy doesn't cause a runny nose and sore throat.
Aaand contrary to popular belief, pre-c u m contains very little sperm. Go here. http://www.americanpregnancy.org/preventingpregnancy/withdrawal.html
And be safe. I use this method and I'm on the most reliable form of birth control on the market (Depo).
