You might be a little anemic, which would explain why you get this way during exercise on your period. You are losing more blood during your period, so if you are anemic, you'll feel dizzy, weak and nauseous. If I were you, I would take an iron supplement every day, especially during your period. Also, make sure to eat a lot of iron and/or protein during the time of your period - especially if you are exercising. Red meat is always good too.

Yea, I think it is normal for you to feel dizzy and nauseated when you are on your period. If you don't think you can handle it, you can ask your pharamist or your doctor if there is anything you can take to help you ease the problem you are having.

On the first day of my period, when it's heavy and I have quite bad cramps, I usually feel like puking. I often feel dizzy and weak as well, but put that down to the painkillers (they can make one tired).

Not only that, but us girls feel STINKY, FAT, UGLY, BLOATED, OVERWEIGHT, etc, during our period. Oh well, what can we do, it is part of being a woman.
