I had my miscarriage back on February 16th, 2007. One month later on March 29th, my house burned down. I waited three months after miscarriage to start trying again and have been TTC ever since. This has been the most stressful summer of my life, having to move into an apartment and start over with nothing. Now this week were moving back into our rebuilt home. Could all of these stressful circumstances make it harder to get pregnant? Im 30 years old now and worried, praying for a miracle.

You bet. Stress is the number one cause of first trimester miscarriages, and it also will keep you from getting pregnant. Your body is not willing to invest time and energy on a pregnancy if it feels you cannot survive it. If this means terminating a pregnancy, or keeping it from happening it does.

Once things cool down you'll have an easier time.

THe best thing you can do is NOT try to get pregnant. Just have sex, and dont think about babies.

I am 28 years old and I will be 29 very soon. I am sorry you have had stressful times. I do think that stress can affect a little the porlactin levels but I also know that God and our Prince of Peace Jesus can fill your heart with peace. Take vitamins and supplements and drink green tea and water. I noticed a big difference in my ovulation when I started taking folic acid and multivitamines. Your body may need few months to heal and get stronger and then maybe the miracle will happen.

God bless you

First of all, I'm sorry about your mc, and your house. 30 is a great age to concieve, and stress is a definite possibility at delaying your ability to concieve. When I was TTC #1, I stressed a lot. It was a year that we'd been trying, and I couldn't take it anymore!

My Dr. tol dme to calm down and try to relax, and let things come as they come. So I tried my hardest, and a few months later I found myself pregnant! So there definitely IS hope! I'm TTC #2 now, and taking the calmest route I can! So try and relax, God'll give you your baby soon!

YES, STRESS is a major cause of temporary infertility. So try to relax about it. Start charting your temps daily (use the free site www.fertilityfriend.com to help you) and use ovulation prediction kits each cycle and time your intercourse accordingly. Read the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility". Its great. If nothing happens in 6 months or so of doing these things see your doctor. It takes an average couple a year to conceive. Best of luck!!!
