Get over it? My cousin was killed, along with 23 people he worked with in WTC. We will mourn him for the rest of our lives. Three of my clients (also my friends) were injured at The Pentagon. I work half mile from the Pentagon, and was at work on 9/11. People I work with actually saw the plane hit the Pentagon.
This is not about politics, or about someone's personal opinions about the current administration.
It will take a long time to "get over it" and I hope we don't until all those responsible are caught and brought to justice. Look how long it took to move on from Pearl Harbor. That's what this was like - an attack by a foreign power on our soil. And there is no pre-set time line for mourning our loved ones who have been lost.
God Bless the USA. God Bless our Troops.

I see where you're coming from. But imagine being one of those people on the lane, or one of the people being in the towers. Imagine the fear those people felt. Have you ever lost anyone? It's hard to just " get over it?"
I mean I get annoyed with all the dramatic people who throw fits and act like they care and really don't, I also think Bush is an idiot. I think I understand what you're saying but you maybe could have phrased it differently. I mean the the U.S. Has a day for Pearl Harbor. We have monuments for all those who died in WW1, WW2, etc. All countries have days where they remember the our victories and tragedies, that's what history. Do you want us to forget about what the Nazi's did to the Jewish Do you want us to forget about the POW's that were beheaded? What about all then men and women that are in Iraq when they should be in Afghanistan? I don't understand what you want people to "get over." Is it really that big of an inconvenience to you?

How ignorant can one person be to ask something like this. Do you think someone can just wake up one day and stop mourning for their lost loved ones?
Do you think the survivors of Pearl Harbor have put what happened to them out of their heads? 9-11 was an attack on civilians. Men, women and children that don't have the same mindset soldiers do. It was worse.
If a mother who lost a baby at birth has mourned for 20 years and been in pain - MINE HAS - do you think the families, friends and spouses of 3,000 individual people can put an event of this magnitude out of their head in just six!!!
When you die, tell He who made the world in six days and feels every bit of pain in our hearts that you wanted people to just "get over it."
I'm sure He'll be pleased to hear it.
You are a sick mother and an excuse for a human being. I hope I never meet you any place other than Answers.

In legal terms, the criminal responsible for the commission of those travesties on 9/11, hasn't been apprehended yet. Therefore no closure can assessed to the 9/11 case.
Don't EVER forget, don't EVER "get over it", be proud to live in such a wonderful country, and defend her unquestioningly.

Are you serious with this question? Wow, very insensitive. Did you lose anyone on 9/11? Maybe if you had you would feel differently, in fact your mentality is exactly the complacent attitude the terrorists hope for because as soon as we forget and let our guard down they are ready to exploit that weakness.

Hard to get over it when you sit around the Christmas dinner table and your father, brother and one of your cousins isn't there. While your family members are suffering and dying from lung disease after 9/11. You sound like you were in middle school when it happened... maybe you will gain some perspective later in life.

Get over a terrorist attack that killed thousands of innocent people... OK... youre the big man with the plan.. to bad its a lousy one, I guess if the shoe was on your foot, and you had been directly involved in loosing a loved one or close friend that day, you may be a little more sentimental over it...
Have you ever had to bury an empty casket...
