I am 44 years old and premenopausal. I regularly use Serious Skin Care from HSN. It is Jennifer Flavin Stallone. Yeah, that is Sly Stallones wife. However, even though she has a star name, her products are absolutely fantastic!! I highly recommend the Olive Oil line or the Vitamin C over 40 line or you may also try Adrienne Arpel's Singature Club A over 40 line. They are a little expensive but they definitely work and they really are not much more expensive than Oil of Olay or Aveeno. Especially if you buy them on Ebay! They are awesome products and they last a really long time!! Like I said, I am 44 years and I was mistaken for 32 the other day!! I have no wrinkles or crow's feet! I highly recommend these products and they are both available on Home Shopping Network or Ebay. If you buy from HSN, they are usually on easy pay broken down into 3 or 4 monthly installments and come with an awesome new purse! Plus there is a 30 day bottom of the jar money back guarantee! You can not go wrong with that, so if you don't like them, just send them back and get your money back! I have been using both of these products for over 15 years now and I absolutely love them. Plus I live in Ohio, so the winter months are brutal!! My skin is usually really dry and sensitive. But both products work wonderful!! They even have a bonus of body butter for the rest of you!! Enjoy!
Oh by the way, no I do not work for HSN, Serious Skin Care, or Signature Club A, and this is not a spam or advertisement. I promise!! I just really love these products and love telling people about them especially when I am told I look 10-15 years younger!! That is a great boost for anyone in their 40's! Go to HSN.com and search for Serious Skin Care or Signature Club A.

I'm 30 and have very dry skin in the winter. I use the Boots UK products. They are now available at Target stores. Excellent products! You could probably benefit from the No 7 line or the Renew and Rewind serum (which is part of the No 7 line). Use the serum before your moisturizer, then apply the Day or Night cream overtop and you should have no problems. It's very gentle and the Renew and Rewind serum is the only serum PROVEN to actually reverse aging on our lower dermis.
I will warn you though, it has been hard to come by at Target lately since the news and press has picked up the study results. Be vigilant and you'll find some. :) The serum is $22 (comparable in price to Aveeno, Garnier, etc) and the creams were around $17.99. Not bad at all.
Best of luck!

I found Pond's and Oil of Olay to be way harsh on my skin, too much of the exfoliant ingredient I think.
I used Avon day and night lifting cream for about ten years now. I use Avon's facial mask system about once or twice a week, it is a system where you wipe on some stuff with one pad and neutralize it with another. Works nicely.
I still use avon but have found that Hydroderm is wonderful, my skin feels like it did thirty years ago and I can go without makeup now.
I have been taking care of my skin since I was a teen (good advice from mom) and haven't tanned since I was 20.
I am 52 now, clear skin, no blotches and no lines, no lines anywhere, not even small or fine ones around my eyes. Avon has lip products that keep your lips soft and smooth too.
I should probably offer that I have tried all the skin products out there, from drugstore cheapies to $500 an ounce imported creams made of I-don't-want-to-know-what-it-is-or-how-they-extracted-it-from-wherever-they-got-it-from stuff.
Avon was wonderful for my skin forever and while I still use it I am beefing up my regimen with the Hydroderm. I am hoping to look 40 when I am 60. We all have goals.
By the way, I wash my face with an apricot scrub and hot water every morning.

Hi! Im an independent Avon rep, and we have LOTS of great moisturizers for the face... especially for over 40. We have many that are just normal moisturizers, we have clinically approved and tested strengtheners and toners, and we even have some that reduce wrinkles (the newest one you see results in 3 days)
Feel free to go to my website below and click on "contact me" if you have any questions, or you can choose to shop right on there and have the products shipped directly to you(ask me about free shipping) And its very safe and I wont find out any personal information! Let me know!Or if you just have questions about some of the products, I will answer!

try Eucerin cream, it is amazing and suitable for even the most sensitive skins. i use it on me as well as my baby :)
make sure you get the *cream* as it has the least additives and the best moisturizing power.
it is about $13 for a pot that will last a couple of months or you can by the same size generic at wal mart for $3-4.
