It sort of reminds me of David and Goliath.
It also reminds me of Samson who woke up all grouchy and stuff when he noticed that somebody cut his hair off and messed up his doo. He was so angry, he took the whole building down smashing all those Philistines and himself too.
Samson was the ORIGINAL suicide bomber. (sort of... but that was before bombs were invented.)

No. The story of David and Goliath is inspirational. The events of 9/11 are not.

Are you suggesting that Al Qaeda is David to our Goliath???
David being the good guy standing up to the bully Goliath??
David being an innocent and Goliath being pure evil?
Do you think 9/11 is that simplistic?
Do you think the 3000 who died that day were all bullies like Goliath? Were they tyrants?
Approximately 1000 of them were cleaning crews there to clean the many offices. One was a nice, 50-something (legal) immigrant named Sylvia Ortiz. Was she worthy of death at the hands of your heroic David?
Shame on you for asking this question and making the implication you have!

Yeah..especially when David crept into Goliaths village and started slinging stones at unsuspecting town folk... all the while preaching the virtues of a religion created by a caravan raider to raise an army and take over mecca and Medina. Get some perspective.

No. David took on Goliath face to face in battle. 9/11 was a cowardly attack on innocent people and has subsequently cost hundreds of thousands of more lives in the aftermath.

No, it doesn't - they are not similar in any way - I'm not sure what you mean, Goliath was defeated by a young boy with a pocket full of stones and a slingshot. What are you referring to? Are we not the "giant" in this situation? We might have been hit with stones, but we are far from being defeated...

No, because David was a Jew and the attackers were anti-Semites. And on 9/11, both the attackers and the man the Supreme Court appointed to avenge the attack were philistines.

Not at all. David was fighting for the survival of his country, not trying to destroy another. David was a solder who meet another soldier on a field of battle, not a coward who snick into a country and attack innocents.

Not really! It just reminds me that people like obama who is filthy rich and nothing better to do but cause problems. It he was such a holy man then he should stop and read the bible. Even in the old testment they said the choosen who soon be here to take on the burden of our sins so that we may have salvation and be saved. Telling people to kill them self in God name is not salvation. But a horrible trip to hell!

It's funny that you should substitute David, a Jewish King, for the 19 Islamic hijackers.
