The Steelers went 40 years without a trophy, the 49ers went through 3 slumps in between their winning times. The Lions haven't been winners in how many years?? How about the Buccaneers? One SB winning season and they've gone back downhill again.

True fans stick by their team through thick & thin. I get frustrated at them like others, but they are still my team. They can go "0-fer" until 2017 and I'll still be a fan. Every team has ups & downs, and we are in a down period. I'm not worried, when the Browns are perennial playoff contenders, the bandwagon jumpers will be on our side....

And having the Bengals for a team?? Why would I want a team that has had 10 members in the news for criminal actions & arrests in the past 2 years??

Why do no longer they reference history with the aid of changing their call to the Cleveland Bulldogs (like the 1924 NFL champs)? the two that or circulate returned to the completed "Brown Bombers" nickname.

Maybe, then they could change their uniforms to red clown suits and their helmets could be rainbow colored. They could also paint a big red circle on their facemasks.

I thought that was their name already.

That's what we have called them in Pittsburgh for years.
