Everyone's saying that 9/11 changed everything is in fact ensuring that the terrorists won. Every American who said "This has changed everything" gave all power to the terrorists.

I've always found that sad (and somewhat bewildering).

If we had NOT become a completely terrorist state, WE would have won.

But Congress sang "God Bless America" and then ended our form of government by abdicating all responsibility (yet continuing to take the salaries and perks of their jobs).

90% of Americans suddenly began supporting our Terrorist in Chief, giving him dictatorial power.

Anti-Americanism has reigned ever since in America itself.

BTW, I don't pay tribute to terrorist acts.

I have some friends with family in Iraq, and Afghanistan, and I have called them up, and we have remembered together, and talked about their sons.
I am also reflecting, surrounding myself with everything I can about this day, 9/11, waving every American Flag I own, which is 9 of them. My son insisted on going to school dressed in red, white, and blue. I am thinking a lot of him, and thanking God that he is alive, and well, living in America, where he is still FREE. The terrorists didn't defeat us, or what America stands for. I am thinking about that most of all.
God Bless America. We will not be defeated by terrorist cowards.

For us Americans only.... The rest of the world couldn't give a monkey's (excuse the pun) paw now, after the decider gave away the goodwill that America enjoyed.....

I have read most of the English speaking newspapers headlines on the internet this morning and most hardly mentioned 9-11.

America needed to learn the lesson that was 9/11, instead they have carried on their war mongering ways and never stopped to think that 9/11 was caused by their own policies.

By electing a Dem. making sure Bin Laden (who admitted to planning 9/11) gets caught. Bush apparently has failed to do so for 6 years now.

You are correct. Many things changed that fateful day. Since then, I have employed my civic duty as an American voter to elect into office those officials who believe in fostering a strong defense for America. We must never let our guard down.

The only thing that changed that day was it marked the beginnings of a police state.

Unfortunately, any lessons to be learned were lost on most of you.
