I am aware that I have a low immune system as it is and I know that once you are pregnant your immune system drops.
What precautions should I take if I am pregnant to make sure I don't lose the baby?

First of all have routine doctor visits, get exercise even though you appear tired, and rest if your too exhausted. Take your prenatals as directed, eat healthy, and for me I use to drink a glass of orange juice everyday the vitamin c helped me to not get sick. It's important that you don't stress so much this will give you high blood pressure and put strain on the baby. You will be fine.

I never heard that about pregnancy and immune systems. I have been pregnant four times and I was always healthy then. My immune system dropped postpartum. I was sick 10 days of every month for six months. I ran a fever of 102-105 every month for several days. This lasted for six months after the baby was born.
