We are analysing an international relocation proposal. Since we don't live in the US, we don't know how much a family like ours tipically spends per month. I would also appreciate to know, taking into consideration the salary offered, how much I would get per month after all taxes, etc., have been deducted. Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you!!!

You live very well on that. I have 4 children and I am the only one working and I make 2200 a month. My daughter has 2 grandsons and we all live off my check.

Taxes will cost you 21% and their is no state income Tax in Texas.

Try Euless. It is about halfway between Dallas and Fort Worth. We are in the HEB school district which is ranked in the top 4 in the state. There is housing for all price ranges, and great apartment complexes near Hwy 360 between Mid Cities Blvd and Harwood. We have an excellent park system that includes several miles of walking trails, a dog park, a fishing pier, and several play areas for the kids. The Midway rec center offers many great classes for the family, as well as summer, winter, and spring break camps that are more fun and more affordable than daycare. Euless has a great Arbor days festival every spring, and free Christmas and Easter events for the family. Good luck, and feel free to email me for more info!

I have rental property in texas, outside of dallas. In the Little Elm area. Also close by is Frisco and Plano. These places are outside of Dallas north a little. but alot of people are moving out there because it is less expensive to live in these suburbs. The cost of housing is pretty cheap out there, you can find a decent 3 bedroom/2 bath approx 1700 square feet for about 150,000 dollars. Or you can rent the same type house for about 1000 month. i dont know the cost of food, gas or utilities out there.
As far as taxes taken out of paycheck each month depends on how many deductions are claimed.

I think you'll do just fine! Homes are incredibly low priced, well for us coming from somewhere else... I recently purchased a huge, gorgeous home in Arlington, TX, in the "metroplex", outside of Dallas, I fell in love with that city, it has all the commodities from a city but it has a small town feel, me and my husband loved it... My honey was going to get his transfer this year but it was postponed for another year, So we have a home to rent, if you are interested. Even if you don't like our home, I do reccommend Arlington, and don't worry, you'll do more than fine on 75K, my hubbie was going to make 38K on his own and I was going to start a job search since I work for the state of California, there are no transfers. Good Luck and Congratulations on your promotion.

I would love to make $75,000 a year. What are you worried about?
