I watched that Final. There is some seriously good talent in both those sides. The Nigerian keeper was superb and it was end to end stuff with neither side frightened to go forward and have a shot. Congrats to both sides, particularly to Nigeria for their win, their 3rd I believe. Very entertaining football.

You know, I'm with you on that one. Maybe it's cause non of those European teams won it. So for the record here is a mention of it.
It was an entertaining match between the super eagles of Nigeria en the whatever of spain, but Nigeria were always favourites having won all of their games, and because spain were without Bojan Krkic Perez.
Normal and extra time could not divide both sets of spirited players. So it was down to penalties and Nigeria triumphed
3-0. Granting Nigeria their third U17 trophy.P.S Ghana came fourth after losing 2-1 to Germany. Watch out African football is coming full force

1. Even though soccer is the most popular game in the world, it is not the most popular on Yahoo

2. Under 17? Not a big deal to most of the world, including those soccer-mad countries.

3. Nigeria - sorry, but most people don't know where Nigeria is, let alone that they play soccer. Most people's impression of Nigeria seems to be through "SPAM" emails trying to defraud people worldwide.

Yes African football receiving less publicity although contributing much to international football. It is because of the Drogbas', Eto's , Michael Esien etc etc that they go to the field and come back happy. What can we do to sell Africa's triumph and football potentials?
