Preserves have the whole fruit, jams have pulp and jelly is the pectin used in the juice of the fruit to give it a jelly effect. All with added sugar of course!I hope I am right.

Jelly doesn't have seeds or anything, jam has seeds, preserves seems to be thinner than jam (which is usually fairly thick)

Jelly is made out of the juices not the pulp or seeds.Jam is made with the pulp in it. Preserves are made with the whole fruit and left in larger chunks.(closer to marmalade that the others).

Jelly - no seeds
Jam - seeds
Preserves - no seeds, but more of a "homemade" flavor

Jelly is the boiled juice plus sugar plus pectin AND has the skins/seeds strained out.
Jam is the same but the seeds/skins left in.
Preserves has seeds/skins and NO pectin...just boiled and reduced... I think.

but all that crap is loaded with corn syrup and/or
sugar.
and that's not good for you.
