Does Gmail Offer a system that allows you to find out if your email has been read?

When somebody opens your email and reads it, then your email notify's you that your email was "read".

Does Gmail offer this?

I don't think so, but it's still the best thing going.

AOL is the only place I've seen that, if you sent something to another AOL member.

No, not as of yet!

They do have it as one of the things that they could implement down the line!
