I took a hat into a professional dry cleaning store and when I came to pick it up it was 2 sizes too small. I went in the next day to discuss what happened and they said there were no directions so they just washed it and would not do anything for me. They told me when I dropped it off that they dry cleaned hats all the time...

First I wouldnt use them again. Second I would go to a uniform store, almost anyone in the area should be able to help and leave the hat with them maybe they can use a hat streacher, I have seen it done before. If its a material that can be streached it should be easy. Ive seen it with Pollice hats and FD hats mostly.

Its sad to say...Nothing..

Most Dry Cleaners have a writen policy stating they not responsable for lost or damaged clothing..

It suck...some times a nice place will give you credit towards future dry cleaning..

I would ask for a credit..

in the adventure that your clothing shrank interior the washer, this is considering the fact which you washed them in warm water.you probable used the conventional cycle, extremely of the cozy cycle too! To precise that off,you probable positioned them interior the dryer. clothing this is vulnerable to shrink, are often made up of Wool, one hundred% cotton,or one hundred% silk. you need to use Woolite interior the washer, utilizing a comfortable cycle, chilly water, and carry them up dry. Taking those products to a Dry Cleaners, may be the superb element to do. it ought to fee somewhat somewhat greater, yet your clothing are properly worth it.
