i was thinking something like tarot cards but the long explanation of the 22 major arcanas and minor arcanas might bore everyone.... i was thinking of magic, too but theres nothing much to say about magic other than your secrets. i've also been playing with the yoyo and some other skill toys for around 3 years now but i cant think of much to say about it.

some skill toys are diabolos and devil sticks and spin tops and, yes PENS!!! you could do a lot with a single ball point pen.....
oh and btw, im 14 so it shouldn't be something too hard. and it can be sort of a show and tell type or like what someone did was changed into sweat pants and did yoga stuff. another made a mole chart and explained what the moles mean. like the mole on the chin means you are a charming person and stuff.

What about the War in Iraq? I am not sure of your age, so I don't know if that would be appropreiate. Is it like a show and tell informative speech? Well, Do you play any sports? like volleyball or soccer, baseball/softball. Explain how to play them and such where your uniform that day and the ball and/or mit. Make sure you have visual aids. Also try animals. Do you have a snake or something? Good Luck! Hope this helps

The yoyo idea is a good one because when you give an informative speech it should be on a topic that you know well.
You could start out by telling the history of the yoyo, then the different shapes of the yoyo, talk about yoyo techniques/tricks. then end with talking about yoyo contests and awards.
Good luck to you I know you will do well.

I did an informative speech when I was your age on " Chin people". Where you draw a face on your chin, hang upside down and cover your nose on up. I sang a song from the Smurfs. .( I just dated myself) I got an A and the class had a blast YOu could do some sort of funny monolouge about "Chin People" and maybe where they originated from.
If you have to get up in front ofthe whole class, it might as well be something fun.

How about a speech on how to give an informative speech.
You can do a poster with pictures of like the individual class member - showing confusion as the teacher asks them to do the speech. The student would then have to consider what they know about and what interests them. They would have to pick the topic and research it etc.. since you have already researched how to do an informative speech use it and do your speech on exactly that.

Make sure that it is something short -- perhaps a procedure that only has a few steps. How to change oil, change a tire or cook chili are the kinds of things that are simple enough to explain.

Do it on the benefits of having a Yahoo account. You can cover the mail, answers, music, etc. There is a ton of information and you already know about it.
