I was sitting in my office in the finance department at work. After the report of the first plane crash a lady in that department drove home and got a TV.
We all watch the news and saw the second plane crash.
My husband was work at a near by town completely shut down and he went home to watch on the TV. We were on the phone talking about all this as the second plane crashed into the second twin tower.
It was Unbelievable.
I support all the efforts of President Bush and our military defending our country and all that happened to the precious people of NEW YORK CITY.

I haven't forgotten, some of the heroes names that saved so many by taking over that plane are still in my heart and mind. The sacrifice Todd Beamer, Jeremy Glick and others made was monumental.
And all those rescue workers that are now sick from sifting through all the dust of the wreckage to save lives, and their children who are fatherless or motherless are heroes. People make heros out of athletes and celebrities that get paid millions, but these are the real heroes that will risk their life because they care about yours. Tom Cruise may play a bad *** on TV, but the 911 rescuers are the real thing. Keep them in your prayers.

No, I have not! It is a memory etched on my mind.
It is a day that impacted our country and made us aware that we are hated.
Perhaps those who have forgotten will be the most surprised if anything like this happens again.
I believe we are beginning to think our country is invincible again like the mindset we had 6 years ago.
I am grateful our country has been safe since 9/11 from terrorist attracts. May we continue to stay focused and not to forget those who lost their lives.
I have never heard that song before. Thank you for posting the link.

No this is something that all of us will remember for the rest of are life's. I have never heard that song it's a good one I have Alan Jackson's "Where Were You (When The World Stopped Turning)" also a great song. I listen to this song at least once a week and think of all the people that died on that day.

I was 13 when that occurred. 6 years later I still think about it everyday. There is someone that I love very much in Iraq now because of that day. The families of those lost are always in my prayers, along with those that have loved ones fighting for the cost to be free.

Know one will ever forget that day. It has changed everyone's lives. Have You Forgotten as well as Where Were You? are songs I will never forget. Todd Beamer was originally from my part of the country(the mid-Mi. area) and it was he who coined the phrase "let em roll !"

No, because right now at this very moment, I have someone I love dear, in Iraq. We haven't heard from him in a few days. So say a prayer for all of our soldiers today, Tomorrow and the next. Make it a habit.
