Animes without mangas all unlikely, only because marketing them usually ties in a manga, but I think some of the studio ghibli stuff doesn't have accompanying manga, so theres some.
Mangas without animes are plentiful, and some you wish the would make into a anime!

Good question. Each time I think I've run across a manga which has no anime, someone either corrects me, or I soon find out that an anime is being made for it.

As for anime without manga, do you mean television series, or do you mean even movies? Because often I've seen what some call "picture manga", but which I don't consider "real" manga. The picture manga is when the publisher uses frames from the movie, and adds little speech bubbles. That's not _real_ manga, in my opinion.

I don't think I've found manga for Haibane Renmei, so, unless I've really been out of the loop, that's one.

And I've never heard or seen a anime version of Iron Wok Jan, so that's a possible example of the other.

There have been plenty of manga that have yet to become anime listed, so I think that answers your question about that.

In reguards to anime without manga- this is a much rarer case. Haibane Renmei actually had a short dōjinshi by Yoshitoshi released before it was turned into an anime.

The only example that I can think of off the top of my head is Gurren Lagann. It didn't have anything before the anime.

Only the newer not so good manga. When the mangas are created they only end up as an Anime if they are good. Big TV companies buy them and make Animes out of them.

I think there are manga that doesn't have anime and there are anime that doesn't have manga... Even some anime are made after movies or so...

But those anime that came from manga are the ones who has bigger chance of being more popular...

There are probably lots of mangas that have no anime series or movie to accompany them, but I should think virtually every anime show has a manga original.

i think of it is thrilling for the comparable reason that persons love books and flicks. You actual fall in love with their plots and their characters. yet with anime and manga, you have some thing seen as an advantage. i might truly like dying word and Fullmetal Alchemist and all the different anime and manga i like in the event that they have been books or another form of media. i like them for what they contain, no longer by way of fact they're anime or manga. the jap comedian-type issues are manga. Anime are the lively video clips. i think of that Fullmetal Alchemist, Ouran severe college Host club, culmination Basket, dying word, or Code Geass are solid for novices. on account which you probably did no longer specify, I basically gave you a number of the extra customary ones. basically examine all of them out and see which one you like maximum suitable as they're all notably diverse. they're all manga and anime (that are all the two dubbed and subbed).
