We seem to have only one sided stories, why are reporters never getting Iraqi input or Iranian input from the people there.
The war started because of all the interventions going on, soldiers invading and occupying territory, stealing Iranian oil in 1953 and Iraq oil. Causing wars between countries, replacing leaders with puppet governments. Protecting Israel..so many issues started this war of terror and unfortunate the US is the real terror...
Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul are the only two candidates which are saying this and are right. Why not listen to the enemies and see why they are upset. Withdraw troops and address the real issues instead of stealing their oil and killing them.
Im not saying to listen to the radicals because thats like them trying to negotiate with the KKK here.

What makes anybody think that any Presidential candidate should or could have a solution for a problem that has infected Islam from its earliest stages? Mohammed was a man who would be on serious medications today, who had convenient visions when he was denied things (like marriage to a twelve year old niece) that enabled him to take what he wanted. Islam, like the Prophet himself, has a problem with multiple personalities.
The only way to completely solve the problem is to kill all the Muslims. Since many of them are blameless that does not seem to be a reasonable solution, even if it were possible.
The very word assassin comes from the Hasheeshans, a sect of Shiites that used political assassination and terror as its weapon of choice when nobody lived in North America but a few bands of nomads. These people have been practicing a long time, and we expect any candidate to have a solution? Frankly, any candidate who claims they have one needs a few meds him/herself!
All we can do is intimidate them, and we are not going about it the right way. We could kill more of them than they do of us, but since "they" are not all Muslims, but only a select and hidden minority, we cannot find them to do it.
Perhaps we need to act a little more dramatically. Since the 9/11 bombers were Saudis, maybe we should invade them. When we get to Mecca, we should plant a thermonuclear device under that rock they pray to and tell the jihadists that the next dead Israeli schoolchild will be joined in Heaven by their damned Kaaba, in its collected pieces.
Then we do it. If their Allah is all powerful, let him stop that. Killing unrelated Muslims might make a few Texans feel better, but it is no more practical a solution to Islam than lynching a random ****** was to integration.
Islam has been a religion of confrontation from the very first, defiling the holy places of the Jews, Christians and Hindi alike. Why should we respect theirs? We should remember how they built mosques on top of the Hagga Sophia, the Mount of the Temple, and the birthplace of the Buddha. Time to speak their language.
Don't expect any Presidential candidate to say that, though. Mass murder is simply not going to win in 2008. They will have to piss us off a lot more than they have, like blowing up the White House or Yankee Stadium.

It s an idealistic image. lets put it this way. if Christians were to apply the old testament as oppose to the new testament they would be radicals as well and some may turn violent. It is all an interpretation of scriptures that makes Koran a source of violence. Arabs have the advantage to be talking to masses that for the most part are uneducated and have been beat literally over the head with the Koran from their youngest age. they are easily manipulated and brain washed.
What is the solution? get all the Arab leaders to actually voice their discontent, have them publicly denounce NOT the attacks like they do, but the fact that the use religion as an excuse. Lets see all these Arab leaders and Islamic leaders take a stand against those who soil their religion and make it a religion of hate and war instead of a religion of peace.

Well first of all you need to understand the history of islamic terrorism. Believe it or not, islamic terrorists have been at war with our country for over 25 years. Countless airlines were hijacked, embassy bombings, etc etc. Only after 911 did this country decide that enough was enough. Ultimately though it all boils down to one thing: US support of Israel. I'm not suggesting that we retreat and give islamic terrorists and fundamentalists the idea that they've won, but I wonder what would happen IF this country cut were to cut off the $9 billion a year it gives to to Israel, and told them they are on their own? Something to think about.

ANY religion taken to the extreme in fundamentalism can become dangerous. I don't think it necessarily has to do with poverty as you pointed out because they are some people who get involved with terrorism who are middle class or even upper class. Some people are raised in it from childhood others turn to it later in life (I'm referring to terrorist ideology here, not any particular religion.)
Simply killing them doesn't work and political candidates who advocate such are not thinking it all the way threw. When you kill a terrorist that you create martyrs for their cause. They rally behind their fallen comrade. You end up creating more enemies in the long run.

This is a very interesting question, and hopefully it won't turn into a political bashing match.
If we go back as far as post WWII, giving the Israelis land.
I'm not sure what could have been differently, (I admit this is a weak point in my history), . with all the destruction and displaced people, I think the best decision was made at the time.
The US and allied forces just wanted it done and over. Kicked Germany out of, France and well pretty much all of Europe and gave all of the land back to their rightful owners, Same with the Philippines and the Pacific.
I'm not sure how this in-itself creates people with such hatred that they can set fire to women and children. Attacking innocent people that have nothing to do with their argument or cause.
I'm not sure how to deal with animals who's ONLY answer is to KILL KILL KILL, those who do not believe as they do.

The roots of radical Islam can be found in the teachings of the dominant Wahhabi sect in Saudi Arabia.

NONE of the current presidential candidates favor confronting the Saudis.
And that is because the Saudi elite class has a huge financial investment in America.

Occupation and atrocities, simply the first Islamic terrorist group founded in Egypt (Muslim Brothers) in 1958 that is 10yrs after the Creation of Israel. Sick Hamas was founded in 1982 and all Mid East terrorist groups have Liberation of Palestine as their main goal. Zionist owned media in U,S wants u to believe that its Islam and the Koran teachings that make them hate us, simply why do they only attack Israel and its main Sponsor the U.S? why dont they attack Japan, Sweden, Greece or most abiding peace loving nations? because they are not occupying and committing atrocities on others land.

It would be not only arrogant of me but also irresponsible if I had any answers as well. If I did, I wouldn't be sitting here typing this.
I do know that the "lets kill all of them" is a shortcut to thinking. How would one know if they got the last terrorist?

There are "rehabilitation" or "de-brainwashing" terrorism facilities that seem to be working. The worse thing for the US or any other country is to push Christianity on them.
