If you were a hardware and networking engineer, you would not be asking what softwares(sic) you need.
Quit playing on the net and start paying attention in school.

If you want to learn the latest programming languages, but don't have the tools to mess around with, and you have windows (which is probably untrue), you can get Visual Studio Express from microsoft. There's a whole bunch of compilers for many languages, all free. Here's a link:

Note that these won't teach you the language, but they are tools that will allow you to compile executables from the source code

Are you serious? You say you are an engineer but need a bunch of idiots like us to tell you what you need or where to get it? I don't know where you went to school but you could use your diploma to line the bottom of the birdcage if you run out of newspaper.

that would actually depend, what's the specification of your computer? if it has 1GB and above w/ a decent video card and a good CPU then you need to install the application you need. if your into PHP then install it. install the software that you need.
