It's nice to show respect for the families that lost loved ones and as a thank you to all who have helped out....

I think it's a Southern thing.... like... when a funeral procession goes by...we always pull onto the side of the road and turn our headlights on and wait for all the cars to go by before driving again... It's just a sign of sympathy and respect.

Well it was raining so it is illegal to drive without your lights on

I had my head lights on but it was for the bad weather. I did not know we were suppose to do it for the lost people of 9/11. Now I feel bad.

Yep. The automatic headlights came on. I had read about turning them on yesterday, but honestly, I had forgotten it.

I'm so absent-minded here lately. :(

I haven't been out yet today but yes, I would, although my headlights are always on.

sure did, and i reminded everyone at work to (my service guys) to run their lights today while on the road in our company vehicles! God Bless those that were lost, and those who lost!
