You can't deny what the truth is, it'll always be there. You can stop believing in Santa, the Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny...etc, they aren't real and have no true impact on your life. Reality on the other hand will smack you across the face to PROVE it's still there even if you try to ignore it.

Sounds like it someone lives in a fantasy world and doesn't want to accept what reality is.

hm I think I know this one it means

"the truth wont go away when you stop believing it"

heres a good example to go with it its like me I have a few pimples but I keep on denying it and I get a few more pimples, the truth is that I have pimples and I dont believe it and my pimples wont go away just like the truth kinda like that
