If I ASKED him, then why be mad if he was "honest" and said yes, she's more beautiful? Honesty is a big deal to me.
That's not something a girl should ask her husband anyway, because the truth is, there's ALWAYS someone out there more beautiful, and that's just reality. But the same goes for you. Don't tell me you've NEVER seen a man that was more attractive to you than your husband. We just don't say it. The issue here might be trust. Do you trust him? If so, why do you care if someone is "more beautiful" to him? YOU have him.

But if he just TOLD me without me asking, I'd wonder why he wanted to be such a PRICK and hurt my feelings.

Pick your battles wisely, Hon. Some things just aren't worth stressing about.

Being a husband, I know that I wouldn't tell my wife that another girl was more beautiful than her, and I think that if I did tell her something like that, she would be mad at me for just saying it weather it was a lie or truth. She'd probably just smack me up side the head if I had the thought in my head.

Did you ask him if she was more beautiful or did he just offer it up as a comment? Either way, just outright saying that she's more beautiful than you is just insensitive and mean. Sure, there's always somewhere more beautiful around. But husbands are supposed to make their wives feel like the most beautiful woman in the world (and the same is true of wives for their husbands).

Definitely not mad at him. If his love for me is only dependent on my looks, then there is a greater problem. Seriously I don't expect him to think I am the most beautiful woman in the world, but I do expect him to love me and make me feel wanted, and attractive. He does a good job of that.

Be mad at him for being stupid enough to point out the obvious. No matter how attractive someone is physically, there will always be someone more attractive, so becoming fixated on such things is idiotic. There's a bigger issue here, such as why did your husband feel the need to tell you that???

Only an insensitive oaf would say something like that. What kind of man wouldn't have the common sense to keep his mouth shut. Anger comes from hurt and heck yes I would definitely be mad.
I have never been with a man that would do that to me.

He will never tell me that because he knows he will hurt my feelings. He wouldn't like for me to tell him that another man was better looking than him physically. It's called mutual respect. Looks are not everything in the world, it's just what gives it flavor, but consistency and fulfillment comes from the inside of each person.

He did say that one time, not necessarily that she was more beautiful but that he kept going on about her 'tight' body. Let me just say, it was the last time he's ever said anything like that again. It's been 10 yrs since then. Sure, he can find any girl more attractive, it's not hard but I think lushing over them is inappropriate and disrespectful.

Sweet Pea I think it is wrong to tell your wife that. I mean those are comments that you keep to yourself. Not only does it hurt the wife but it tears her down mentally. I would be up set. The issue is not him telling the truth or telling a lie, it is how does he really feel about his wife? Good luck!
