Drunk ? Did you mean J- Walk?
Now I would like to ask a question, Why do people just slow down at the intersection when turning right on red? Some times they don't even slow down. This causes pedestrians to get hit. The law says STOP AND LOOK, THEN turn right on red. Maybe that's the reason pedestrians cross away from the corners! The right to turn right on red was stopped years ago because so many people were being hurt or killed. And it may be stopped again! However, You are right. People shouldn't J-walk for any reason!
Hey FEMMALABUSH, I remmember that movie! It stared John Carradine. I think it was called Death Race 2000. Or something like that.

Because 20 ft down+30 ft across+20 ft back = 70 ft versus 30 ft across from right where they're at. They're old! Plus, there wasn't nearly as much traffic when they were young, so the idea doesn't sink in that they should now use the crosswalks.
It's also not just old people. I live in a college town. You would think that people who are smart enough to go to college are smart enough to NOT walk out in front of a two ton vehicle going 30 mph.

I have never seen such a thing . It is all ways the young people that i see doing that. Unless you call twenty two and down old. But how ever your break,s should work and you can call a cop and have them ticketed. They live on a fixed budget so that will get them to stop. And when you are old you will know better then you can just laugh at all the young people who do that.

Becauz us old people might not live long enough to get to the crosswalk and would rather die in the middle of the road and block traffic until the coroner gets there.
