Easy oven. Let it sit at least 30 minutes and it will wipe right off.
Or if you're impatient try this stuff they sale at Home Depot called Krud Kutter. It cleans just about anything from grease to crayons.

The best cleaner SHOULD be the person who made the mess... ! However, if he's left the scene of the crime or grime as "they" say spray the stove top with formula 409 and let it sit for 10 min.. Scrub with a damp sponge... Or a MR. Clean magic eraser... Just dont' scrub too hard you'll rub the finish off the stove.. Good luck

Have you tried using something like soft scrub? This has an abrasive like product in it that will aid in removal while not scratching the stove top.
Some are saying using ammonia will help it when left to stand on the stain for a second or two to soak in. I will provide the link where I found the answer for you.

I know this may sound stupid but I do this alot. I use either Lysol kitchen cleaner or Clorox bleach cleaner anyways I spray the area and then I take a wet washcloth and set it on top of it for at least half hour to an hour and then I spray again and it wipes off sometimes I have to scrub a bit but its not that bad.

Easy-Off BAM! works really well at getting grease off stoves and barbecue grills. Spray it on, let it sit for a minute or two, and then scrub. If it's really burned on, try Soft Scrub with bleach. If all else fails, use Easy-Off oven cleaner.

properly once you scrubbed away each and every of the fat on the outdoors... and to proceed on the no longer ordinary crusted muck... use an environmental baking powder. in simple terms combination the baking powder / baking soda with somewhat bit water until at last it has a toothpastey consistence and unfold it on the muck on your range. go away it then for a on an identical time as, observing the muck itself this is invaluable to to go away it longer or do yet another consultation with the paste. After a pair hours then you definitely can get rid of the paste with a moist dress and you will miraculously see a distinction devoid of plenty soreness or attempt. Plus devoid of any volatile area outcomes to the ecosystem. And its much less costly and ordinary to apply!! yet another determination for a greater speedier answer is via utilizing somewhat metallic scrubber ( no longer the coarse one however the large metallic pads with the cleansing answer integrated ) and in simple terms gently scrub away with this moist pad. Its somewhat greater attempt, greater high priced and not specific environmental friendly...however the effect will come straight away. yet bear in ideas whilst utilizing the metallic pad, dont scrub to no longer ordinary or or you will scratch your range!

Try a dab of baking soda and scrub it in with a wash cloth. Works great. I use it on my flat top stove...it has even removed a cigarette burn on a bathroom countertop before, also worked on tar on lanoleum floors.

I used soft scrub, works good. There is a generic version available (I got mine in Walgreens pharmacy) and it's a gel so it's not abrasive.
