You Made Me Cry

In such a broken world
there is mending
But, only a few
that par take
to seal some hope
of the ending
Of terror that our
lives it takes

I haven't a clue
who you people are
but, still, I feel love
and wish well
On this sadest of days that
3000 were gone
Twin Towers fell

And yet you have time
for the unsure
A "no one" that's going
no where
You've made and take time
to comfort
A survivor with much
less dispair...

Shad, when u blow up in your writings and become famous, don't forget I am your long lost sister(lol!!!!!!).I have not taken enough time to read a lot of your work, but, the ones I have read is so inspirational, u truly writes from your soul, and, it touches my soul, all blessings to u and your family, yes, I agree, there r truly good and great people left, I met an angel today in human form who gave me so much inspiration just to be in her presence and to listen to her share in words, "may the portals of your soul continue to open. The good and great people r often overlooked because they don't fit into society's status quo, but, it doesn't take anything away from their greatness and who they are, you are a good soul.

First reaction:
Me and Thee.
Seriously though, the greatest people are the ones we seldom hear about. They are the people who, on a daily basis, do the job they are hired to do without so much as a second thought about their own well being. The people who lost their lives on 9/11 are a prime example, as well as the police, firemen, security guards, teachers, and everyone else who deals daily with an uncertain public. Do we know when someone is going to step out of the crowd and start shooting? Or when someone is going to blow themselves up to hurt innocent people in order to get the governments attention. No, we don't, but there are always those who will step up and put themselves in harm's way to protect us from those who would do just that. I can't name them all, there isn't enough paper to write there names, or enough bandwidth to post it. Every person needs to say a prayer of tribute ti those who do that, and be thankful for their service. My condolences still go out to all who lost loved ones on 9/11, as well as all other terrorist attacks throughout the world.

I've hung out with brave people all my life. I was even brave myself, once or twice. The only true greatness comes from selfless sacrifice for the cause.

When the cause is just and honorable, the sacrifice is great. When the cause is unjust and dishonorable, the sacrifice is futile.

I have a friend whose birthday is today. He is disgusted by the people who took it away from him.

aw that is sweet
in memory of the many
people who died in the 9/11
attack. It doesn't matter if they
are police officers, fire fighters
and children.
I remember that day and
I dont think any one will forget
I know I won't
6 years ago I felt trapped
there was no escape
it was on the radio television
allover the streets of Saskatoon
where I am from.
but it is memory of those who died.

There are plenty of great people. There are great people who are among us, who love us, and great people who hate us, too....

The abominable acts of yesterday do little to squelch out the possibilities of tomorrow. They merely make it a little harder to obtain the happiness we all want, which will only have the effect of forcing us to cherish that happiness once we have obtained it.
