Yes.
Last year the Packers caught a Patriots employee illegally taping the game but the league didn't investigate the situation. Now the Jets caught them again red handed breaking rules, therefor cheating. It's no wonder the Patriots have been so good the past few years, they know the play the other team is going to run before the ball is snapped.

The pats play the Jets atleast twice a year (last year they played us three times). To say that illegally video taping the NY Jets' Defensive signals is not cheating, you are an idiot. While signals may be complex, there are certain aspects you can determine right away (ie what formation the defense is in, whether it is Man-to-man or cover, etc). From what you are saying, dan c, you are justifying cheating if it has limited immediate effects. It is that exact mindset that is what ruins professional sports. Rules are rules. The patriots broke the rules.

There is every reason to believe the Pats have been doing this for some time now, and it would be entirely possible to videotape the entire away team up in Foxboro.

"The Commissioner’s powers under this section (UNFAIR ACTS) include the imposition of monetary fines and draft choice forfeitures, suspension of persons involved, and, if appropriate, THE REVERSAL OF THE GAME'S RESULT"

In my opinion, knowing the Defense before the play even starts deserves a reversal of the game's result. While the NE O-Line is extraordinary, Tom Brady recieved so much time and it only makes you wonder.

I'm a patriots fan and i obviously would say they didn't. I wouldn't believe that they would tape a mediocre team like the jets. If i were belichick i would videotape the chargers. Plus, Who the would cheat to beat the packers? If they in fact cheated, the guy was caught and his camera and Camcorder were taken away before the first half was over and the Patriots blew out the Jets in the second half. Every other team probably cheated its just that they didn't get caught. I remember the colts did against the broncos.
This thing is blown out of proportion because the Jets are Division rivals. This thing is just like the Michael Vick case.

I hate the Patriots now I have a reason. Belichick just issued an apology. No wonder why Brady looked so damned good he knew exactly what the coverage was going to be. What a bunch of roiding, now signal stealing cheats.

Signal-stealing would have a big impact on the game - Nimrod... You would be able to decipher signals for the 2nd-half & especially in all rematch games (i.e.: playoffs). If the allegations are true, then - yes, they're low-down dirty cheaters. I for one, (if again the allegations are true) believe if Bonds gets an asterisk without ever actually being caught - the Pats Super Bowl wins should also get an asterisks!!! I don't think they can take away the rings - what's done is done - but definitely asterisks, plus they should lose a bunch of draft picks... How much easier would your play-calling & especially audible calling be if you knew what package the defense is in? I really don't see much of a difference - cheating is cheating & the Pats are too good to lower themselves to that level, but if they did - that's dispicable! SAD 'n' SHADY - SAD 'n' SHADY...

No they don't. It was just a rumor passed on by the Colts after their 45-7 loss to the Pats in the 2014-15 AFC Championship. The Colts are just sore losers, that's all.

It certainly looks like they did. If, and I'm saying If because the NFL is still investigating, it is true then the Kraft's should slap Bellichek upside the head in public if it goes that high.
If not, then Bellichek should fire someone below him and come out saying they screwed up.
I'm a season ticket holder and embarrassed and disappointed in them if it's true.

There's a possibility of cheating. Let's wait for the NFL to say if they were or not. If they were, I hope that they get a good fine and have to forfeit the game.

Yes, the NFL considers stealing signs cheating... this is not their first time being accused of cheating.

"It's not their first time," a member of the committee, who did not wish to be identified, said.

In fact, Green Bay Packers president Bob Harlan confirmed a similar incident that occurred when the Patriots played at Lambeau Field last Nov. 19. The same cameraman who was questioned by NFL security on Sunday was also the one whom the Packers removed from the sideline and escorted from the field during their 2006 game, according to Packers security official Doug Collins.

"From what I can remember, he had quite a fit when we took him out," Harlan said. "We had gotten word before the game that they [the Patriots] did this sort of thing, so we were looking for it."

This type of aquiring a competitive advantage is done in all sports. Funny how only Away games are in question. All teams spy on the opposition and propably with permanently fixed cameras in the home Stadiums.
The coaches are all unsavory characters, but as Nicholson said "Although my meer existance disgusts you. Deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, You WANT me on that wall. You NEED me on that wall."
Coaches will use ANY competitive advantage available.
