I went to Llangollen twice in the early '90s to take part in the International Eisteddfod - had a good time both times, but didn't see much of the place. I have also been to Cardiff a couple of times while my brother was a student there - it seemed like a nice city.

No, but I really wish that I could. I have never been out of the states. I would someday like to take that long journey across the Atlantic Ocean over there...I can't even comprehend what it's like there since I have never been out of this country. However, someone did tell me that the eastern part of the US has the same climate as most of the UK. If that's true then maybe I have some idea of what it's like over there. Maybe when I get rich and famous, I could move over there or at least have a summer home there. Another reason I want to visit is because, that's where ALL of my ancestors used to live before they came here via the Mayflower or something on a single tank of gas.

The closest I've been---geographically---is Paris, France.
The closest I've been---phonetically---is on a whale watch off the coast of Provincetown, Massachusetts USA, in the late 1980s. Not sure how many of the whales originally came from Wales, though ;-)

Not yet, but I plan to travel Europe extensively by rail. Then again at a slower pace via bicycle.
