No, we don't have any in our home. We only have one fire alarm also. I am needing to go out and get a one for every room, and two fire extinguishers!

I don't know of any law that says you have to have one in your domestic property.But if you run a business & employing people from the house you must have (where the premises are in use i.e bed and breakfast. Anyway common sense should prevail all home ought to have one. I'm sure the local fire service would more than be pleased to advise

I have them and both are in the kitchen. I have the refillable kind and need to know where to go to have them refilled. I heard you can go to a fire station and they will do it for free is this true? If you know can you email me?

I dont use gas, i make sure that my electrical devices are turned all the way off at night , I have smoke detectors in every room and live less than 1km from the nearest fire station..
All in all I don't think i need any one of those at home.
However I do got one in the car
