It was about some stuffed animal (I think it was a dog) that lived in this guy's basement on an old couch...it would come to life and talk to the guy, but when anyone else came around, it went back to pretending it was a stuffed animal...Some sitcom from the 90s

your thinking of "Unhappily Ever After" from the now defunct WB network. it was a rabbit named Mr. Floppy, voiced by Bobcat Goldwait. the other stars included, Nikki Cox, Geoffrey Piersen, and Justin Berfield.

I think you're talking about a show called "Unhappily Ever After". It was 90s citcom featuring Nicki Cox. The dad was the one that spoke to the stuffed animal. Here's a pic:

I think it was called "unhappily ever after"

It was similar to "Married with Children", except for the talking stuffed animal in the basement

I think the reruns are still on late at night.

sounds like something positioned on public television. the place did you reside once you observed it? whilst? do you recognize any names? have been there different episodes? Twins that sing the alphabet backwards sounds greater like a horror action picture. perchance your reminiscence is incredibly a dream you bear in mind. It happens.
