he'll be a bust. y? cause he's missed too many games already. he worried too much about his own paycheck rather then his team. some leader the raiders have there in oakland. the team was dysfunctional last year, meaning they didnt have a leader. that shows the difficulty russell was going to have when the raiders drafted him. then he goes and gets greedy. shows how more difficult its gonna be for him.

I believe Russels actions speak for themselves. He has shown that he has no real interest in being a team player, just signing a big contract. I could care less if he signed with them or not. He has not put in much time working with the team and they are going into the second game.

The Radiers should start Dante Culpepper and let this whining crying baby rookie sit on the bench. This is just the type of BS that keeps a team from playing to full potential.

I think raider fans have to care maybe then can build something around him.. he will start towards week 9 or 10 culpepper is horrible if thats who they even gave the starting job too the raiders are horrible they will be in last once again and will give the rookie a shot.. with another top 3 pick next year they will start building a team

hell yes i care of course i love the raiders j russ will eventually make an impact, probably around week 8 he might start playing the guy had some serious skill but since he hasent been in camp he wont play until later (if at all) this season. the raiders are going to start mccown again this week at denver (tears) if we keep starting mccown this season nwill get out of hand fast and j russ will start earlier, if we start culpepper in the next couple of weeks and he does win some games we might not see russell til next season....GO RAIDERS

I care, but that is because I'm upset that Davis let it happen. I say the kid should have had to sit out the rest of the year. Don't even try to negotiate any more until the end of the season. Don't brag about how good LSU was last year either, as far as helping him, because don't look like they are struggling without him.

No, I dont care. I wish his greedy behind would have been forced to go back in the draft, he wouldnt have got nearly as much as the Raiders offered.

I really don't care, but at least he got his money........... The way the NFL signs their Rookies is messed up. They should do it like the NBA. If you are the #1 pick you should get XXX and the #2 pick should get less then at, and the #3 pick should get less then the #2 pick.. and so on....
