Your parents can/may check your internet history so dont hide it online, I'm not saying your folks are shady but there are netnanny type programs that store all passwords and log in details so if you want to be 100% sure of privacy I wouldnt do an online one.

I used to selotape mine to the back of my wardrobe, not the inside back, the outside back that was against the wall, my wardrobe also had a piece of wood below the doors that was easily removed (cheap MFI/Ikea type lol) and that made a great hiding place.

Always have a few good places and switch it around every other day or so.

The safest place though is to always keep it with you, in your school bag, mums snoop most when your at school, if your diary isnt at home then she can't find it :P

If it's a personal dairy, that might be hard to hide. In a barn, maybe?

Just kidding. In all seriousness, there are a number of places you could hide it. Some stores sell hollow books that would be good for that. You could also hide it in a lockbox or file cabinet. If you do the file cabinet, try to stash it with really boring looking papers so no one will be tempted to look. You may want to switch the hiding place every so often so it won't be discovered.

hard to know where to suggest when I don't know what you have in your room, you could try pulling out your bottom draw and hiding it underneath or if you have a wardrobe with panels at the bottom you could hide it under there. If you have a lot of books you could put a cover from one the same size as your diary over it and keep it in plane sight, sometimes the obvious really is the best place, as long as it is a book only you would want to read.

That's all I have without knowing what your room is like, good luck.

Put it in a "strange" place such as the kitchen...they'd never "dream" of looking there. Behind a lot of pots and pans. Behind dishes they only use on special occasions. Or if they have a drawer under the oven, it rolls out, put it behind there. The answer is not in your room, if they want to find it-that's where they will look. Outside, in a shed...just look at places where there is already so much "junk" that something else wouldn't be noticed. Think "out of the box, so to speak. By the way, they shouldn't invade your privacy, sorry ...

LOL, presume you meant DIARY. I don't know where I would hide a DAIRY!
Some ideas I used as a kid:
Hidden inside another book on the book shelf
Under the mattress
Bottom of a drawer
Keep it with you
In a small bag hung on a coat hanger with a jumper over it in the wardrobe.
In a chest of drawers, but under the bottom drawer - in the base of the chest.

i have no idea. wherever i placed mine, someone would always be able to read it! One time, i always kept in in my bag, and guess what. My classmate found it while rummaging through my stuffs. So what i did after that day, i tore each page from my diary and threw them. so now i've learned my lessons and am not writing in any kind of diary anymore. I would write on a journal time to time but not too personal stuffs, and by that maybe you know what i mean. And i would just keep the memories in my head. Easier and safer, much more convenient! you don't have to bring a diary around anymore.

You can put it in the back of a drawer, or in the pocket of a piece of clothing you have hanging in your closet.

There are diary websites on line which are password protected. You could opt for using one of those. And there is also a diary you can dowload (listed below) which you can just add a password to, and no one can get into it except by using your password. If you use the I Daily Diary, make sure your password is something no one else will ever guess.

and take care.

Hide your dairy in the back of the fridge or it will go sour.
Hide your diary very obviously like among other books.Make a shadow box using wood and glass like a picture frame and put a lock on it like a pretty display, but actually use it. If somebody breaks it or breaks it open, you will know immediately, and they prob don't want you to know they know!

You havent said where you do put it? And if your parents have already read it

Underwear drawer, under your mattress, tape it to top of your closet .

If they had read, talk to them and explain to them how important is for you to keep that private and for them to respect that, make a pact with them, if there is something that they need to know about you because they think there is something wrong with you and they are worried that they should ask you instead of reading your diary to ask you will tell them the truth.

You could hide it anywhere but they may still find it. When I was a child and I didn't want my parents to read my diary, I bought a long chain and a pad lock. Hooked the chain round and through, then round again and then padlocked it. No one could get in, not even me when I mislaid the key from time to time.
