I've been having a lot of trouble with this. I need to come up with something that is related to the story of Orheus and Eurydice, or else and overall assumption about people, or another, more modern story that is very much related to the story of Orpheus and Eurydice. Can anyone help me?!?!

Not terribly modern, but "Black Orpheus" is a great film (Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film - 1959) which is an adaptation of the Greek legend of Orpheus and Eurydice, setting it in the modern context of Rio de Janeiro during the Carnival.
